Private institution educational organization secondary school «Personality» has been operating in Yakutsk since May 1994. Since 2013, the school has been included in the 100 best schools in Russia. Since its formation, the school has focused its work on working with children from well-off families who have gaps in their studies.

The name of the school «Personality» speaks for itself: based on the potential of the school and ideas about its role in the formation of a pupil's personality, the team sees its goal in creating conditions for the formation of a mature personality capable of living and developing independently in a changing world, taking into account all the conditions for the development of a self-determining, self-aware, self-fulfilling personality. School students can be characterized as well-mannered, motivated for high academic results, positively attuned to the educational process, perceiving the pedagogical requirements of the individual. At school, a child gets used to discipline and self-organization from an early age.

The pedagogical collective of the school consists of 15 teachers, all of them have higher education. All the achievements of the school are achievements that are the result of the work of the entire team. The school staff constantly monitors and successfully applies innovations in the educational process. The school has a homely atmosphere, comfortable learning conditions, a high-quality level of teaching and education. During the work of the school, the school has developed its own «school traditions» – all this has made the school in demand among students and their parents.

In its statutory activities , the educational institution implements the following main educational programs:

• general education programs of basic general education (grades 5-9) – the planned development period is 5 years;
• general education programs of secondary (full) general education (grades 10-11) – the planned development period is 2 years.

No more than 12-15 people study in classrooms. An individual approach is applied to each student, a special training program is being worked out for each, which takes into account the character, abilities and worldview of the child.

During the work of the school, more than a thousand graduates have already been released. On the Unified State Exam, graduates always show a high score, which allows them to enroll in budget places of prestigious universities of the Russian Federation. Most of the graduates have already graduated or are still studying at prestigious Russian universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Novosibirsk. Some of the graduates continued their education abroad in Russia - in America, Canada, Spain, Austria and China.
