Moscow is one of the largest business and financial centers in the world. A global metropolis that implements a large-scale urban infrastructure development program and provides ample opportunities for investors from all over the world. The greatest contribution to the development of the Moscow economy is made by modern information technologies and communications, Finance and insurance, construction and real estate operations, banking and science, transport and trade, education and health care. An important role is played by the industrial sector, which accounts for a sixth of the gross regional product of the Russian capital. In January - September 2019, the volume of investments in fixed capital increased by 10.6% in real terms compared to the same period in 2018 and amounted to 1.6 trillion rubles (24 billion US dollars). In the current economic conditions, the city has gained additional competitive advantages. While maintaining the quality parameters of the investment climate for many types of costs-Moscow becomes one of the most attractive megacities in the world. In recent years, Moscow has implemented a set of measures to reduce the cost of doing business, simplify administrative procedures, and improve the quality of tax and tariff policy. Public-private partnership mechanisms are actively developing, including concessions, life-cycle contracts, and real estate rentals with mutual obligations. New technoparks and technopolises are being opened to create high-tech industries. The combination of these factors ensures the growth of investment attractiveness of Moscow. The main goal is to turn the capital of Russia into a metropolis that is convenient for people to live and comfortable for doing business. In order to achieve this goal, fruitful cooperation with the investment community will continue and expand. The result of joint work will soon be new projects for the benefit of Moscow.
